Snow Patrol

I am a huge fan of this band.

Snow Patrol, an indie rock band from Dundee Scotland, first hit the music scene in 1994. Since then they have received international fame with songs such as "Chasing  Cars," "Set The Fire To The Third Bar," and "Run."

This band has released six albums to date; Songs for Polarbears, When Its All Over We Still Have To Clear Up, Final Straw, Eyes Open, A Hundred Million  Suns, Up To Now, and the recently released Fallen Empires. Singles that are definitely worth checking out are "New York," "I'll Never Let Go," and "This Isn't Everything You Are."

Snow Patrol have just announced that they will be touring around the UK and Ireland early next year. Having seen this band live at Wembley (London, UK) I would definitely recommend you go and see them.  I urge you to buy tickets soon however as their shows often sell out fast.

For their show expect great things. These boys always put a lot of effort and thought into each of their shows and I warn you now you have not seen talent quite like it. For their '09 tour in Manchester the lead singer, Gary Lightbody appeared in the middle of the audience with his guitar to sing an acoustic version of their hit single "Run." You can be sure this band will put on a good show for you from the fact they have have been around for years, and have filled many headliner spots for festivals such as T in The Park and Oxygen.
